Oral History Committee Member

Are you interested in listening to stories, interviewing people, and learning about history? Then join our Oral History committee and help the Hopkins Historical Society record priceless knowledge and experiences. We will meet occasionally to plan our interviews. The interviews will be scheduled according to the interviewees and interviewers schedules. You do not need to be present for all interviews.

Fundraising Committee Member

Do you like fundraising, talking to prospective donors, and sharing your passion for history? Are you creative? Join our Fundraising committee and help us raise the funds we need to move into our new building on Mainstreet. We will meet once a month to discuss goals and plan our activities.
Museum Inventory Volunteer

Do you like learning about history and working with artifacts? Join us and help inventory our collections. We need volunteers to describe, label, and photograph artifacts so we can then enter that information into our database.  Volunteers would need to work during open hours: Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9 and 12 pm, or Wednesdays between 4 and 7 pm.

The museum is located inside the Hopkins Activity Center. You can enter through the main doors or through the side door around the left side of the building.
Don't forget to fill out our volunteer form
